Anne M. Fearon-Wood > Here is one from Pearl's album and she would be quite happy to have it shown. It is poor quality but an interesting story. My sister Elsie climbed up the ladder to where the men (maybe Sarah's brothers) were working. It appears they were putting the front porch on the house or maybe just repairing it. She was born in March 1919 so this seems to be summer of 1920. I'm quite sure the woman is Pearl and maybe Harry coming out the door. Not sure who took the picture. Note faces in the upstairs window!

My sister Ferne climbed the ladder and walked across the top of the Harry's barn when it was being built but there is no picture of that little escapade. Dad was on the roof at the time so she went to see him and it is considerably higher than the porch scaffold.
